چکیده
We consider a boundary-value problem for the nonlinear integrodifferential equation $$ {u}^{\prime \prime }-m\left(\underset{0}{\overset{l}{\int }}{u}^{\prime 2} dx\right){u}^{{\prime\prime} }=f\left(x,u,{u}^{\prime}\right),\kern1em m(z)\ge \upalpha >0,\kern1em 0\le z<\infty, simulating static state of Kirchhoff beam. The is reduced to integral equation, which solved by using Picard iterative method. convergence process established and error estimated.

متن کاملStatic Solution of the General Relativistic Nonlinear σ-Model Equation
The nonlinear σ-model is considered to be useful in describing hadrons (Skyrmions) in low energy hadron physics and the approximate behavior of the global texture. Here we investigate the properties of the static solution of the nonlinear σmodel equation coupled with gravity. As in the case where gravity is ignored, there is still no scale parameter that determines the size of the static soluti...
متن کاملSolution of a Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation
A slightly modified variant of the cubic periodic one-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation is shown to be well-posed, in a relatively weak sense, in certain function spaces wider than L. Solutions are constructed as sums of infinite series of multilinear operators applied to initial data; no fixed point argument or energy inequality are used.
متن کاملAn Elasticity Solution for Static Analysis of Functionally Graded Curved Beam Subjected to a Shear Force
In this paper, using 2-D theory of elasticity, a closed-form solution is presented for stressdistributions and displacements of a FG curved beam under shear force at its free end. The materialproperties are assumed to vary continuously through the radial direction based on a simple power lawmodel and Poisson’s ratio is supposed to be constant. In order to verify the solution, it is shown that a...
